Free Engineering Event

iNSPiRE was created to give 8^th grade to 12^th grade students a window into what an engineering career could look like in the real world. The day consists of four sessions led by industry professionals, lunch, and an engaging keynote speaker…plus students can win some awesome prizes at the end of the day. In the past, we have had great sessions from the following industries:

If you are a student,

If this all sounds a bit intimidating, or maybe you aren’t one to step outside of your comfort zone, IT IS OKAY. You do not need to be a math or science wiz, and in fact, you may learn about an engineering field that brings your interests together. This is a day to discover what people in the science field do every day and learn about how they arrived there. You never know, one of the sessions may iNSPiRE you to pursue a career in engineering.

We just wrapped up our Sioux Falls iNSPiRE event, but if you are west of the river, we have one more upcoming event in Rapid City on April 14, 2026.

When is this event typically held, and when will the dates be available?

Our first event will take place in March in Sioux Falls, followed by another event in April in Rapid City. Specific dates will be announced in June! We will share the event details on our website and social media. Registration opens every year in January.

What is the schedule for the day?

How many spots are available?

iNSPiRE is on a first-come, first-served basis, so don’t wait, save your spot right away! We have 110 spots in Sioux Falls and 90 in Rapid City.

How do I register?

Go to our website, click URegister, or scroll down to upcoming Events.
Register for the event that works best for you. Fill out the form with a parent, guardian, teacher, or chaperone.
After that, e-sign the waiver or download a copy and upload the front and back to your dashboard. If you want to bring a signed copy to the event, that works too!
