Here at Omnitech, we love our book discussions! It is even more eventful when we revisit a book we read as a company and see if the ideas still apply. We first read Give and Take: A Revolutionary Approach to Success in 2017. Almost ten years later, we are happy to report that the thoughts and concepts still hold up in 2025. In fact, they may be more important than ever.

In 2025, teams are more geographically dispersed while being more connected than ever through technology. It may be easier to slip into a 'taker' mentality if you do not consciously pursue opportunities to connect, mentor, and support. 

We believe even more strongly in being a community of givers that supports our mission to build an organization that encourages growth, humility, and lifelong learning. Having everyone model the giving mentality helps create the environment needed to feel encouraged to help others and ask for help.
